MicroCyto Biotechnology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MicroCyto") was established in 2021 and is dedicated to the research, development, and industrialization of biotechnological innovations. With a team of over a hundred professionals, MicroCyto’s core R&D members hail from prestigious institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University. The company has successfully developed multiple cutting-edge biotechnologies for diverse markets, including human and animal nutrition, chemical materials, and more. Key achievements include: successfully commercialized bio-based mannitol production, replacing petroleum-dependent chemical synthesis with an eco-friendly process; developed an innovative direct glucose fermentation process for allulose production, resulting in a significant reduction in manufacturing costs.
